The Florida Board of Massage Therapy ensures that every massage therapist practicing in Florida meets requirements for safe practice in Florida. It is the legislative intent that massage therapists who fall below minimum competencies or who otherwise present a danger to the public health and safety in Florida be prohibited from practicing massage in Florida.
